TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Marchema Deshannon Williams, 51, of Tuscaloosa. Williams tragically lost her life in a car crash on Friday morning, Sept. 12.
According to the Tuscaloosa Police Department, Williams was driving south on Queen City Avenue, crossing 15th Street, when another vehicle struck the passenger side of her car around 7:13 a.m. Her car then went over the curb into the parking lot of O’Reilly Auto Parts, colliding with an unoccupied vehicle. The drivers of the involved vehicles were transported to DCH Regional Medical Center, where Williams was pronounced deceased.
Marchema will be remembered for the love, kindness, and light she shared with her family, friends, and community. Her memory will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
