It is with heavy hearts that the Oakland community mourns the passing of Isabel Grace Pilcher, 22, who tragically lost her life in a devastating single-vehicle crash on Maryland Highway on Saturday, September 13, 2025.
According to the Garrett County Sheriff’s Office, Pilcher was traveling eastbound when her vehicle failed to navigate a right-hand turn, colliding head-on with a concrete wall. First responders from Tri-Towns EMS pronounced her deceased at the scene. Brave members of the Bloomington Volunteer Fire Department, Tri-Towns EMS, and Potomac Fire Company assisted deputies during the emergency response.
Isabel was a cherished daughter, friend, and member of the community whose sudden loss has left family, friends, and neighbors reeling. Her vibrant spirit and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
