Hearne, Texas — It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cassandra Dunn, 47, who left this world unexpectedly after a courageous battle with Stage 4 colon cancer.
Cassandra faced her illness with remarkable strength and resilience, even as she endured severe pain, limited mobility, and a liquid-only diet in her final days. Though her journey was difficult, she showed unwavering love and devotion to her family throughout.
She was a proud mother of five and a cherished grandmother of fourteen, roles that brought her the greatest joy in life. Cassandra’s legacy will live on through her children, grandchildren, and the countless lives she touched with her kindness and love.
A graduate of Sam Houston State University, Cassandra valued education and hard work. She will be remembered not only for her accomplishments, but also for her warmth, her laughter, and her deep love for her family.
Her life, though far too short, was filled with meaning, love, and devotion. May her memory continue to shine in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
