The Union Center community is mourning the loss of Sharon Frances Herron, 83, who tragically lost her life in a two-vehicle crash northwest of Union Center on September 15, 2025.
Sharon was a beloved and longtime resident of Union Center, where she was known for her warmth, kindness, and strong community ties. To her family and friends, she was a source of unwavering love, wisdom, and comfort. Sharon’s presence touched many lives, whether through her generosity, her willingness to lend a helping hand, or her ability to brighten any gathering with her gentle spirit.
She lived a life rooted in family, faith, and community. Those who knew her best recall her as a devoted mother, grandmother, neighbor, and friend. Her loss leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
While her passing came suddenly and tragically, Sharon’s legacy is one of compassion, resilience, and love. She will be remembered not only for the years she shared with her family and friends but also for the values she instilled in them and the example she set.
