It’s with profound sadness that we share the passing of Lauren A. Hall, 32, of Reynolds, who tragically lost her life in a car accident on Route 67 south of Milan on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.
According to the Rock Island County Coroner’s Office, Lauren was pronounced dead at the scene of the nearly head-on crash, which occurred around 10 a.m. in the 15000 block of Route 67. A 52-year-old man involved in the accident sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
Authorities said that a northbound and a southbound vehicle collided nearly head-on. Route 67 was closed between 127th Avenue and 176th Avenue during the investigation but later reopened. The Rock Island County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the circumstances of the crash and extended gratitude to local police and fire departments for their assistance.
Lauren’s sudden passing has left her family, friends, and community in deep mourning. She will be remembered for her warmth, her kind spirit, and the love she shared with all who knew her. Though her life was cut tragically short, the memories she leaves behind will remain forever in the hearts of those she touched
