With deep sorrow, we remember the life of Abraham Michael Ehlers, 54, of Bethesda, Maryland, who tragically passed away on September 16, 2025, in a fatal motorcycle crash in Kensington.
According to the Montgomery County Police Department, Abraham was riding his black 2006 Suzuki DR-Z400 motorcycle on Beach Drive between Rockville Pike and Knowles Avenue at approximately 6:05 p.m. when, for reasons still under investigation, he lost control and veered off into the wood line. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Abraham’s unexpected passing has left his family, friends, and the greater Montgomery County community heartbroken. Known for his love of riding and his vibrant spirit, he lived life with freedom and passion. His memory will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Authorities are still investigating the crash and are asking any witnesses to contact the Collision Reconstruction Unit at (240) 773-6620.
