With heavy hearts, we remember Britian Pool, 36, of Texas, who tragically passed away while hiking the Mount Roberts trail in Juneau, Alaska, on Tuesday. Britian was visiting Juneau as a cruise passenger when the unexpected accident occurred.
Alaska State Troopers reported that Britian and a fellow passenger fell from the steep trail and slid down the mountainside. While the other hiker was rescued with minor injuries, Britian was located further down the slope and sadly did not survive. His passing has left family, friends, and all who knew him devastated.
Britian’s adventurous spirit brought him to the beauty of Alaska, and he will be remembered for the way he embraced life’s journeys. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him dearly.
