With heavy hearts, we share the passing of James Lee Critney, 25, of Baton Rouge, who tragically lost his life on Friday, September 19, 2025. James was found behind the Triangle Market on Scenic Highway, leaving family, friends, and the community devastated by his sudden loss.
James was more than the headlines he was a son, a friend, and a young man with dreams ahead of him. Known for his warm smile and easygoing nature, he had a way of making people feel seen and cared for. His presence lit up any room, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him most.
