HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, N.H. – Authorities declared a mass casualty incident Friday evening following reports of an active shooter at the Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua.
According to emergency officials, the incident began around 7:30 p.m. when two armed suspects opened fire before fleeing the scene. At least one victim suffered a gunshot wound to the face and remains in life-threatening condition. Another person sustained a serious arm laceration, while several others were reported injured.
First responders declared a mass casualty incident (MCI) due to the number of victims. At least nine ambulances were requested, and multiple people were transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, where trauma alerts were activated.
Firefighters on scene requested additional transport resources, and a statewide mobilization unit was also called in. Guests at the country club were evacuated as a heavy police presence secured the area.
As of 8:48 p.m., authorities confirmed that at least three patients were taken to the hospital by ambulance. The total number of victims has not yet been confirmed.
Both suspects remain at large, and police are urging residents in the Nashua area to shelter in place and avoid the area.
