It is with deepest sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend, Howell Dixon White, age 5, who went home to be with his Savior on September 19, 2025, following a tragic accident.
Though his time on this earth was heartbreakingly brief, Dixon’s life was a radiant light that touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Born on April 9, 2020, Dixon entered the world full of energy, curiosity, and joy. From his earliest days, it was clear that he possessed a spark that set him apart—a bright, loving spirit who embraced life with enthusiasm.
Dixon loved the outdoors, racing across the yard, throwing a ball, and joining his daddy to mow the grass. His laughter and joy were infectious, filling every space with warmth. To his family, he was a treasure beyond words. He adored his sisters, Amelia and Saville, and shared a tender, deep bond with his momma. He looked up to his daddy with admiration, always eager to help, learn, and laugh at his side.
Although his life was brief, Dixon’s impact was profound. He lived with a purity and innocence that reflected the very heart of God. His family finds comfort in the promises of Scripture, knowing that while Dixon is no longer in their arms, he is safe, whole, and forever embraced by the love of Jesus. Matthew 19:14 offers solace: “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
Dixon is survived by his loving parents, Howell and KayLee White; his devoted sisters, Amelia and Saville White; his grandparents, Eddie and Natalie Dixon and Charles and Ellen White; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whose lives he brightened.
A service celebrating Dixon’s life will be held on Tuesday, September 23, at 2:00 p.m. at Hope City United Church, with a private graveside service to follow. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. All who knew Dixon are invited to attend, to honor his joyful spirit, and to hold on to the eternal hope of reunion in Christ.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hope City United Church, 1211 Stuart Ave, Albany, GA 31707, to fund the construction of a playground in Dixon’s honor—a place where children can laugh, play, and experience the same joy he brought into the world.
Though hearts ache with grief, the family gives thanks for Dixon’s life, a beautiful gift from God whose memory will continue to inspire love, faith, and hope in all who carry him forward.
