Robert Steven DeCesare – Arrest Made in Nashua Country Club Shooting

Nashua, NH – Attorney General John M. Formella and Nashua Police Chief Kevin Rourke announced an arrest in connection with Saturday night’s fatal shooting at the Sky Meadow Country Club.

According to officials, 23-year-old Hunter Nadeau has been charged after allegedly shooting and killing 59-year-old Robert Steven DeCesare with a handgun during a wedding celebration. Authorities confirmed there is no known connection between Nadeau and DeCesare.

In addition to fatally shooting DeCesare, Nadeau also wounded two other adults, who survived their injuries.

Nadeau has been charged with one count of second-degree murder for knowingly shooting DeCesare. Officials said additional charges are expected in connection with the other victims. He is scheduled to be arraigned Monday, September 22, at the Ninth Circuit Court in Nashua.

Authorities emphasized that the charges are accusations and that Nadeau is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

The investigation remains active, and officials noted that further details will be released as they become available while ensuring the integrity of the case
