It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Annie Ruth Buggs, age 54, of Bernice, Louisiana, who tragically lost her life on Sunday, September 21, 2025, in a drowning accident on Dorcheat Bayou.
Annie Ruth was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend whose presence brought warmth and kindness to everyone who knew her. Known for her gentle spirit, giving heart, and love for her family, she touched countless lives in her community. Her laughter could brighten a room, and her unwavering compassion left an impression that will never be forgotten.
