It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jeromy T. Danielski, age 37, of Old Fort, Ohio, who lost his life in a tragic vehicle accident on the morning of September 22, 2025.
The accident occurred on Township Road 73 in Pleasant Township, just north of the village of Old Fort, around 7:15 A.M. Jeromy was traveling northbound in his Ford Escort when another vehicle crossed the center line and collided with his vehicle head-on. Jeromy was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Also in the vehicle with Jeromy were his two young children, who sustained serious injuries and were flown to St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Toledo for treatment. At this time, the family is asking for continued prayers and support as the children recover and as they navigate this heartbreaking loss.
Jeromy was more than the victim of a tragic accident—he was a devoted father, a beloved family member, a trusted friend, and a valued member of the Old Fort community. His love for his children was evident in every part of his life. He was known for his kind heart, quiet strength, and the steady presence he brought to those around him.
He lived his life with love, humility, and purpose dedicated to his family and to doing what was right. His absence leaves a void that cannot be filled, and he will be missed beyond measure.
As the investigation continues, our focus remains on remembering the life Jeromy lived, the legacy he leaves behind, and supporting his loved ones through this unimaginable grief.
May we hold his memory close and honor his life by cherishing those we love and offering kindness where we can.
Rest in peace, Jeromy. You will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved you.
