In Loving Memory of Alexis Raine Pence

TIFFIN, OH — The world grew brighter on June 15, 2001, when Alexis Raine Pence came into this world. With her arrival came a vivid light—one that touched countless lives with warmth, laughter, and boundless love. On Saturday, September 20, 2025, that light returned to the heavens, leaving behind a profound sense of loss for all who knew her.

A vibrant 24-year-old from Fremont, Ohio, Alexis lived and loved unapologetically. If she loved you, she would do anything for you—without hesitation, without condition. Her compassion, loyalty, and fierce spirit were unmatched.

An artist at heart, Alexis brought beauty into every space she entered, leaving behind pieces of herself in her art and in the many lives she touched. She was known for her radiant smile, infectious laughter, and a presence that could lift even the heaviest hearts.

Alexis is lovingly remembered by her mother, Kelly Yoder; her father, Josh Pence; her best friend and sister, Madison; her brother, Hulk “Bubba”; and her beloved fur baby, Mila.
She is also survived by her grandparents, Mike and Lisa Yoder and Becky Pence; aunts, Monica and LeeAnn; uncles, Mike “Crusty” and Alec; along with many cousins, extended family, and close friends who will forever cherish her memory.

She was welcomed into eternal peace by her grandfather, Larry Pence; her uncle, Harold; her aunt, Stacy; her pets, Boujee and Loki; and her great-grandparents.

A memorial tree was recently planted in Alexis’s honor, symbolizing the lasting impact she made in her short but meaningful life. Her legacy will live on in every laugh she shared, every soul she touched, and every beautiful thing she created.


Funeral Services

Funeral services for Alexis will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin, Ohio.
Visitation for family and friends will take place prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m., at the funeral home.
At this time, there will be no burial service.


For those wishing to express condolences, the family welcomes flowers, or invites you to plant a tree in Alexis’s memory continuing the beauty and light she so selflessly gave to others.

Her passing is a profound loss, but her memory remains a guiding light for those who loved her.
