It’s with deep sadness that we share the passing of Randy Croft, the well-loved owner of the Double C Bar near Athens, who tragically lost his life on Saturday, September 20, 2025.
Randy was more than a bar owner he was a friend, a mentor, and a man who treated everyone who walked through his doors like family. His welcoming spirit and kind heart turned the Double C Bar into a place of community, laughter, and belonging.
Those who knew Randy will always remember his generosity, his strength, and his ability to bring people together. He leaves behind a legacy of friendship and love that will continue to live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and the Athens community.
Though his life ended far too soon, Randy’s memory will forever shine in the stories, smiles, and lives he touched.
Rest peacefully, Randy Croft. You will be dearly missed.
