In Loving Memory of Dashanna Donovan

QUEENS, NY — It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Dashanna Donovan, 21, who tragically lost her life on Friday night in East Elmhurst.

At around 9:20 p.m., police responded to a 911 call reporting an assault in progress at a building on 96th Street between Astoria Boulevard and 30th Avenue. When officers arrived, they discovered Dashanna with a gunshot wound to the head. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities have not yet made any arrests, and the investigation into her death is ongoing.

Dashanna’s untimely passing marks a heartbreaking loss for her family, friends, and the Queens community. Though her life was cut short, she will be remembered with love and cherished by those who knew her best.
