It is with heavy hearts that we remember the life of Shakena Shamae Taylor-Pannell, 39, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, who tragically lost her life in a fatal crash on Sunday, September 21, 2025.
Shakena was involved in a devastating wrong-way collision on Interstate 464 in Chesapeake, Virginia. She was driving a Lexus sedan when it collided head-on with an ambulance, and she passed away at the scene. The tragedy, now under investigation, has left her family, friends, and community in deep mourning.
Beyond this heartbreaking moment, Shakena will always be remembered for her vibrant personality, strength, and kindness. She was a woman who brought light to those around her and gave her love freely to family and friends alike.
