It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Enemencio DeLaRosa, age 35, following a tragic act of violence on the evening of September 20, 2025, in San Angelo, Texas.
Enemencio was the victim of a shooting near 9th Street and Chadbourne Street. Despite the best efforts of first responders and medical personnel, Enemencio succumbed to his injuries. His loss has left an unimaginable void in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Described by loved ones as kind-hearted, strong, and full of life, Enemencio’s presence brought light to those around him. His memory will live on in the laughter he shared, the love he gave, and the strength he showed.
The San Angelo Police Department has identified Alan Helms, 34, as the suspect in the incident. Helms was taken into custody at the scene and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, though charges may be updated as the investigation continues.
This was believed to be an isolated incident, and SAPD has stated there is no further threat to the community.
