With broken hearts, we mourn the tragic and untimely passing of Keontae Devon Millner, an 11-year-old boy whose life was taken far too soon in a devastating car accident on Saturday, September 20, 2025, in Henry County, Virginia.
Keontae was traveling with loved ones on Axton Road when their vehicle was struck head-on by another car that had crossed the centerline. Despite wearing his seatbelt, Keontae died at the scene. The crash also claimed the life of the vehicle’s driver, Misty Lynn Holland, age 45, of Stoneville, NC, and left others injured.
Keontae was a vibrant, joyful child whose laughter could brighten any room. He was known for his big heart, curious mind, and kind spirit. Whether he was playing with friends, learning something new, or simply being his loving self, Keontae left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
At just 11 years old, Keontae had dreams, potential, and a future full of promise. His sudden passing has left his family, schoolmates, and community devastated and grieving the loss of a beautiful life that ended far too soon.
As we come to terms with this heartbreaking tragedy, we also lift up the memory of Keontae—a son, a friend, a shining light. We pray for comfort for his family, healing for those injured, and justice in the face of such a senseless loss.
Rest in peace, sweet Keontae. Though your time here was short, your life mattered deeply. You will never be forgotten.
