In Loving Memory of Scott Roberts

It is with profound sorrow that we share the passing of Scott Roberts, a 46-year-old resident of Glenburn, Maine, whose life was tragically taken in a homicide on Sunday, September 21, 2025, in Corinth.

In the early morning hours, Maine State Police responded to multiple 911 calls reporting gunshots in the area of 272 Main Street. Upon investigation, troopers discovered Scott deceased inside a nearby apartment. An autopsy conducted by the Office of Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta confirmed that Scott died from a gunshot wound, and his death has been officially ruled a homicide.

The news of Scott’s passing has left his family, friends, and community heartbroken. His death, sudden and senseless, serves as a painful reminder of the fragility of life. While the investigation remains ongoing and no arrests have yet been made, authorities believe this was an isolated incident with no ongoing threat to the public.

But Scott Roberts is remembered for far more than the tragic way he died. He was a kindhearted, down-to-earth man who brought warmth and compassion to those around him. A friend, a neighbor, a steady presence—Scott lived his life quietly and honestly, often putting others before himself. He was known for enjoying life’s simpler pleasures, for his gentle nature, and for the comfort he brought to those in his circle.

To know Scott was to know someone who didn’t need to say much to make an impact. His presence alone brought calm and kindness into every space he entered. The sorrow we feel today is a reflection of how deeply he was loved and how greatly he will be missed.

As his family and friends mourn, we come together in remembrance, choosing to celebrate his life rather than be defined by the violence that took it. His memory will live on—in the lives he touched, in the love he gave, and in the peace we all hope he has found.

Rest in peace, Scott.

You are loved. You are missed. You are remembered.
