With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of Francisco Perez Lopez, age 58, of Donna, Texas, who tragically lost his life in a car accident on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.
The crash occurred on FM 1423, north of Minnesota Road. According to Texas Department of Public Safety investigators, Francisco was driving his silver Dodge pickup when his vehicle veered into the opposite lane for unknown reasons. After side-swiping another car, his truck left the roadway and struck a fence. He was transported to the hospital but sadly did not survive his injuries.
Francisco was more than the circumstances of that tragic afternoon. He was a beloved resident of Donna—hardworking, kind-hearted, and known to those around him as a dependable and generous man. Whether lending a hand to a neighbor, sharing a laugh with a friend, or supporting his family in quiet, steady ways, Francisco lived a life of humility and care.
Though his time on Earth ended far too soon, his spirit lives on in the lives he touched and the memories he leaves behind. His presence will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who knew him.
As we grieve his sudden loss, we also celebrate the legacy of love and kindness Francisco leaves behind. May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his family find strength and comfort during this difficult time.
