It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Pierre Mack, who tragically lost his life on Wednesday , September 24 ,2025, while working in a construction zone along southbound I-35W in Burnsville, Minnesota. Pierre was fatally struck by a boom truck while on duty as a MnDOT contractor, and he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Pierre will be remembered as a hardworking, dedicated man who took great pride in his work and his role in keeping Minnesota’s roads safe. He was known not only for his strong work ethic, but also for his kindness, warmth, and the genuine way he cared for those around him.
Beyond his professional life, Pierre was deeply loved as a son, brother, friend, and colleague. He touched countless lives with his generosity, humor, and compassion. His family and friends will forever cherish his smile, his spirit, and the many memories they shared together.
Though his life ended far too soon, Pierre’s legacy of dedication and love will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be profoundly missed and never forgotten. May he rest in eternal peace.
