Tupelo, MS – It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the family and friends of Conrad Riley Becker announce his passing on September 24, 2025, at the age of 21. Born December 6, 2003, in Tupelo, Mississippi, Conrad was the beloved son of Rachel Prater Becker and Robert Conrad Becker.
Conrad grew up in Tupelo, attending Tupelo Christian Preparatory School before transferring to Tupelo High School, where he graduated with the Class of 2022. At the time of his passing, he was pursuing a degree in Cyber Security at Mississippi State University, a reflection of his intelligence, curiosity, and drive to make a difference.
Known for his radiant smile, warmth, and humor, Conrad had a rare ability to connect with people and lift the spirits of those around him. He was deeply devoted to his faith as a lifelong member of St. James Catholic Church and actively participated in parish youth ministries, CYO, and the VISION retreat at Notre Dame University. Summers at Alpine Camp for Boys nurtured his love for the outdoors and simple joys.
Conrad was a passionate sports enthusiast, enjoying wake surfing, skiing, golf, basketball, and pickleball. He was also a loyal supporter of Mississippi State University and Alabama Crimson Tide.
He is survived by his parents, siblings, grandparents, and an extended network of family and friends. Conrad’s life, though tragically short, leaves a lasting legacy of love, faith, kindness, and joy.
A Holy Hour will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 26, 2025, followed by a Funeral Mass at 4:00 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church, with burial at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Cemetery in Saltillo, MS.
