It is with heavy hearts that we remember the life of Rene Govea Sr., 46, who tragically lost his life in a devastating crash on the South Side of Corpus Christi on the morning of September 12, 2025.
Rene was more than just a name in the headlines — he was a loving father, a dedicated family man, and a passionate Philadelphia Eagles fan who carried joy, pride, and laughter wherever he went. His presence filled the lives of his children and family with love that will never be forgotten.
Though his life was cut short in such a heartbreaking way, his spirit lives on in the memories, stories, and love shared by those who knew him best.
