It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Jalesseazay Posey, 22, who was tragically killed in a shooting early Thursday morning in Springfield.
Police responded to the 1400 block of Delta Road, near the Southern Village Shopping Center, at approximately 3:10 a.m. and found Posey suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Springfield Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
Authorities describe the incident as isolated and are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding Posey’s death. No suspects or persons of interest have been publicly identified.
