It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Solomon Boyd, 64, of Shreveport, Louisiana, who tragically lost his life following a collision while riding his mobility scooter on September 5, 2025.
Boyd was traveling on the 100 block of East Stoner Avenue just after 8 a.m. when he was struck by a car. Emergency responders rushed him to a local hospital, where he underwent surgery for his injuries. Despite the tireless efforts of medical staff, Solomon succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead on September 7 at 6:25 a.m.
Solomon will be remembered by his family, friends, and community for his warmth, kindness, and the positive impact he had on everyone who knew him. His gentle spirit, generosity, and friendly nature left a lasting impression on those around him.
His passing is a heartbreaking loss to all who knew him, and his memory will live on through the countless lives he touched. Loved ones are encouraged to celebrate his life and honor the moments and memories they shared with him.
Though his time was cut far too short, Solomon Boyd’s legacy of compassion and love will endure forever.
