It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William Holmes, age 52, of Osceola, Indiana, who tragically lost his life in a three-vehicle accident on the morning of September 16, 2025, on Lincoln Way East near Basswood Road.
According to officials, William was traveling westbound when his vehicle crossed the center lane and collided with two eastbound vehicles. Emergency responders arrived quickly, but despite their efforts, William was pronounced dead at the scene.
Though the details of the crash remain under investigation by the St. Joseph County Fatal Crash Team, what remains undeniable is the heartbreaking loss of a life cherished by many.
William was more than the circumstances of his passing. He was a father, a brother, a neighbor, and a friend. Known for his quiet strength, warm heart, and unwavering loyalty to those he loved, William brought light to every room he entered.
