With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Kain Brumbaugh, who left this world on September 9th at the young age of 14. Kain was found deceased in Oroville, after making the unimaginable decision to end his life. This sudden and heartbreaking loss has left his family, friends, and community in profound shock and sorrow, with questions that may never be fully answered.
Kain was a bright spirit, known for his humor, mischievous nature, and ability to bring laughter to those around him. He had a fearless warrior’s heart, and from the moment he could speak, he shared his dream of one day becoming a soldier. His greatest aspiration was to join the Marines as soon as he was old enough, a reflection of his courage and determination.
Though his time with us was far too short, Kain’s memory will live on in the love, laughter, and light he brought into the lives of those who knew him. He will be remembered as a son, a brother, a friend, and a young man with an infectious smile and a heart full of dreams.
