It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Zachary Minosky, 28, of Hopewell, who tragically lost his life on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, in a vehicle accident on State Route 586 in Licking County.
Zachary was born and raised in Hopewell, a proud graduate of West Muskingum High School, and a skilled technician who took great pride in his work. Known for his generosity, his sense of humor, and his warm smile, Zach touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
He had a deep love for the outdoors, music, and spending time with friends and family. To those closest to him, Zach was more than a friend — he was a brother, a source of strength, and someone who could always be counted on in times of need.
“Zach had this gift of making people feel welcome,” said one of his longtime friends. “He brought light into every room and always gave without expecting anything in return.”
His sudden passing has left his family and the Hopewell community devastated, but his spirit will live on in the countless memories he created and the many lives he touched.
A candlelight vigil in Zachary’s honor will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. at Hopewell Community Park, where family, friends, and neighbors will gather to share stories, music, and prayers in remembrance of his beautiful life.
The family wishes to thank the community for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. A GoFundMe campaign has also been set up to assist with funeral expenses and provide comfort to his loved ones.
Though Zachary’s life was cut tragically short, his memory will remain a beacon of love, kindness, and compassion. His laughter, his smile, and his heart will never be forgotten.
Rest in peace, Zachary. You will forever be loved, remembered, and missed.
