It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Glen Edward Lucas, 56, who tragically lost his life on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, in a tractor-trailer accident near Iowa, Louisiana.
Glen was behind the wheel of his 18-wheeler when a sudden medical emergency is believed to have caused him to lose control of his rig. The truck left the roadway and struck a cluster of trees, igniting a fire. Glen and his passenger, Leon, both passed away at the scene.
Known for his hard work and dedication, Glen spent his career on the road, providing for his family and serving others with quiet strength. He will be remembered as a dependable man with a kind heart who always put his loved ones first.
Glen’s memory will live on through his family, friends, and all who knew him. His passing is not only a tragic loss but also a reminder of how fragile life can be.
