With profound sadness, we remember Billy LaFrance, a 24-year-old resident of Jarrell, Texas, who tragically lost his life in a motorcycle crash on Friday, September 19, 2025, in Taylor.
The accident occurred around 5:56 p.m. near the 13400 block of Chandler Road and County Road 366. According to early reports, Billy was unable to avoid a 2021 Toyota Corolla turning onto County Road 366 and collided with the vehicle. Williamson County EMS arrived quickly and made every effort to save his life, but despite their best efforts, Billy was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle, 23-year-old Melany Espana of Arlington, sustained minor injuries and was transported to Scott and White Hospital in Taylor. The incident remains under investigation by local authorities.
Billy was known for his adventurous spirit, generous heart, and the joy he brought to those around him. Whether it was on the open road or among friends and family, he lived his life with passion, courage, and compassion. His loss is felt deeply by his loved ones and all who knew him.
